This skull of an adult female Australopithecus robustus was discovered on June 30, 1950 by Fourie in Swartkrans / South Africa. The age of this fossil is approximately 1.5 to 2 million years. It was given the number "SK 48" being the "SK" stands for "Swartkrans".
The cast is made of epoxy resin and hand-colored. The color of the reproduction may differ from those of the images slightly. Due to the handmade, each piece unique.
