Homo Mojokertensis, Child skull from Java

Here we offer a nice cast of a child scull cap of a very early Hominid. The designation of this fossil is "Perning 1".

The so called "Mojokerto Child" was discovered in the year 1936 by J. Duyvjes near the town Perning - north of Mojokerto - in Java.

The age of this fossil is about 1,8 million years. The child died at an age of about 2 to 6 years.

The cast is made of Epoxy resin and is hand coloured. The color of the cast may slightly differ from the pictues, the handcraft makes each item individual.
