Mammoth rib from Germany

This rip of the Wooly Mammoth was found in the pleistocene aged layers of the river Rhine near Lampertheim in Germany.

The fossil is completely preserved and is unbroken, it measures about 85 cm in length... measured along the curve it is even longer.

No manipulations at all - just as found.

It comes from an old collection - this fossil was found before 1980.
