This lower jaw of Potamotherium comes from the oligocene layers of St. Pourcain Sur - Sioule/Allier, France. The jaw is complete preserved and is still embedded in its original sediment. It measures about 7 cm in length. The fossil comes from an quite old individual, the alveoli of the missing teeth are allready closed. Fossils of this extinct species of fish otters are rarely offered for sale. No manipulations at all! SOLD
