This is the right lower jaw of a Cave Hyena (Crocuta crocuta spelaea). It still contains four teeth: one incisor, the canine and two premolars.
The piece comes from the pleistocene sediments of a Cave near Krakow in Poalnd.
Because of their rarity fossil of Cave Hyenas are highly sought after by collectors and museums.
The dimensions of the jaw are about 6 x 6 x 3 cm.
