This vertebra of an unidentified mammal was found in the cretaceous sediments of Goulmima in Morocco.
The location is mainly known for its rich fossils of reptiles and dinosaurs like Spinosaur. Remains of mammals are absolutely rare in these layers. The first true mammals formed only in the late triassic or early jurassic age.
The vertebra is unbroken and complete with spinous process preserved. It measures about 1,6 cm.
