This Discosauriscus pulcherrimus (Stegocephalia) was found in the lower permian layers of Bacov near Boscovice, Czech Republic. Its age is around 285 mio. years.
The animal measures about 15 cm. The matrix is unbroken, original and measures about 30 x 12 x 2 cm.
The preservation of this fossil is fantastic. The body-shape can clearly be seen ass dark area (skin). Even some tiny teeth are visible
To get a better contrast and to protect the fossil, it has been covered with a thin layer of Lacquer. No colour was used! If required one could remove this easily with Aceton.
