These Metacarpale bones of Cave-Hyena (Crocuta crocuta spelaea) were found in the pleistocene age sediments of a Cave near Krakow in Poland. They belonged to one individual and fit together perfectly.
Hyena fossils are highly sought after by collectors and museums because they are very rare finds.
The bones are unbroken and complete preserved, they measure about 8 cm in length.
Only thinly laquered, no further manipulations!
