This frog fossil comes from the Cretaceous (Jehol Group) of Liaoning Province, China.
The animal is exceptionally well preserved, even the skin contours are clearly visible.
The frog measures a considerable 17 cm. The plates measure about 20 x 16 cm.
The stones were broken and have been glued. The back end of the skull has been supplemented,
the front area is original (with teeth). The body is 100% original, just as found. Nothing
was lacquered or otherwise manipulated, the skin contours are original and not "painted".
Rarely offered fossil in wonderful condition
