This tooth of Deinotherium giganteum comes from the Pleistocene sediments of
Eppelsheim in Rheinhessen, Germany.
Deinotherium is an extinct genus - related to Elephants - that lived from the Miocene
to the early Pleistocene age.
The fossil is unbroken, it measures 7 x 6.5 x 5 cm.
It is in the original condition, without any manipulations!
