This fang of the cave lion Panthera spelaea comes from the pleistocene layers of
a cave near Krakow in Poland.
The fossil is unbroken, it measures about 11.5 cm (maximum measurable distance).
It is wonderfully preserved only a tiny piece of the tooth's tip has been repaired.
