This tooth from Mastodonsaurus comes from the middle traissic layers (upper Muschelkalk) of Würzburg in Germany. Fossils of this interesting saurian are found mainly in the layers of the Keuper. In Muschelkalk these are top rarities. This piece has long been part of my private collection and is the only tooth from Mastodonsaurus which I could find in several decades of intensive search in the Muschelkalk. The tooth is completely preserved and undamaged, it measures about 3 cm. The stone is unbroken, it measures approximately 11 x 6 x 2.5 cm and contains other small fossils such as a tooth from the Triassic Shark Acrodus. Perfect fossil without any manipulations. Unique opportunity for the advanced collector. SOLD
