Here we offer a very interesting fossil. It is a pelvic bone of the cave lion Panthera leo spelaea. It was found in the pleistocene layers of river San... near the city of Radymno, Prezemysl region in Poland.
The bone is unbroken, it measures about 30 cm in length.
Cave lion fossils are highly sought after by collectors and are rarely seen for sale.
Worth to mention is the fact that this fossil were found in a gravel pit - very unusual - mostly fossils from these animals are cave finds.
Rarity!
