Products description
This is a fossil of the left side lower jaw with four teeth from the Woolly Rhinoceros Coelodonta antiquitatis. It was a juvenile (not yet fully grown) animal.
Worth to mention is the inteersting teeth status, two of the teeth are still mostly inside the jaw, they did not erupt yet.
The fossil is a gravel pit find from the Pleistocene sediments of Geinsheim in Germany. It is massively heavy and strongly mineralized,
it measures about 24 x 7 x 3,5 cm.
The jaw is unbroken and is original - just as found - without any manipulations.
