Dragonfly larva

This is a fossil larva of a dragonfly. It comes from layers of the Lower Cretaceous (Crato 
Formation - Santana Formation) of Nova Olinda (Araripe Basin) of Brazil. The age of this fossil 
is around 125 million years.

The insect measures approximately 1.7 cm. 
The stone is unbroken and measures approximately 9 x 9 x 1 cm.
