We are pleased to be able to offer you something very extraordinary. It is a reptile skeleton with a fish in its mouth. This little reptile (Tethysaur) was a little too greedy and choked on its prey fish (Goulmimichthys). The two animals then sank together into the mud where they petrified over time. After millions of years they reappeared and now allow us to examine this long-gone drama. The fossil comes from the Cretaceous period and is around 100 million years old. It was found in Goulmima in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. The skeleton is about 56 cm long and its skull measures about 12 cm. The stone was broken several times and was professionally glued - no further manipulation! The skeleton and also the fish could be exposed even further. This is an authentic fossil and not a Moroccan "tinkering". The fish was not replaced later - it is an honest, rare, well prepped and high quality museum exhibit! Something like this appears only once in a lifetime, so don't miss this rare opportunity to add such an interesting and valuable fossil to your collection!
