This Temnospondyl Apateon comes from the Permian sediments (Schwarzpelit Bank) of Pfarrwald Heimkirchen in Germany. The fossil is completely preserved and measures abou 7,5 cm. Unusaual: The animal shows preserved skin, so you can see the entire body outline. Skin preservation is rare, the body outlines are often just imitated using varnish. Everything here is authentic and original, no varnish and no paint was used! The stone was broken, it measures approximately 8.5 x 8 x 3 cm.
