This is a partial skeleton with skull of Gnadonoston latirostre. The piece comes from the Permian
(Rotliegenes, Schwarzpelit-Bank) from Pfarrwald, Heimkirchen in Germany.
The fossil measures approximately 7.5 cm. The stone is unbroken and measures approximately
9.5 x 6 x 1 cm.
The piece was elaborately prepared and the bones are beautifully preserved in three dimensions. There is
a partial fish on the backside.
The discovery area has been under strict protection since 1986, and no new finds come onto the market.
The specimen offered here comes from an old collection.
