This great pycnodont "Flagelipinna Rhomboides" comes from the Upper Cretaceous (Cenomanian) layers of Hakel in Lebanon.
The age of the fossil is around 98 million years.
The fish is completely preserved and shows a beautiful dark contrast to the light matrix.
The largest measurable distance on the fossil is about 16 cm.
The stone was broken once and has been professionally glued. It measures approximately 22 x 18 x 2 cm.
Attractive and rarely offered fossil for the advanced collection.
