Wonderful fossil fern

This amazing fossil fern comes from the Lower Jurassic (Lias alpha) and is around 180 million years old.
It was found at a location that only existed for a short time, namely in a construction site near 
Heroldsberg in Germany.

The plant is wonderfully preserved - such beautiful fossilized ferns are rarely found, please take a look at the 
pictures, the plant is just amazing.

The stone is unbroken and measures approximately 29 x 21 x 3 cm.

No manipulation whatsoever!
