These are fossil bones of Claudiosaurus germaini.
There are mainly the bones of the foot and leg, but also two vertebrae and a rib.
The fossil comes from the Upper Permian deposits and is around 260 million years old. It was found
in the Sakamena Formation of Ranohire in southern Madagascar.
Claudiosaurus was an aquatic reptile that hunted fish.
The stone is unbroken, it measures approximately 12 x 9 x 1.5 cm.
