Cave Bear Skull

This cave bear skull (Ursus spelaeus) was found in a cave deposit in Romania.

It is a complete female cranium of this extinct species.

The skull measures about 42 cm. The quality of this fossil is very good, only minor restaurations have been done. The zygomatic arches were broken and have been reconstructed. All teeth are original, none have been added.
