Wild Boar Skull

This skull of a wild boar (Sus Scrofa) is pleistocene in age. It was found in the net of a fisher boat on the north sea.

Such find are very rare, usually one can only find smaller sized fragments.

The skull has got some white coloured marine remainings on its dark surface which gives it a special charakter.

The fossil is about 25 cm in length.
