Microlerpeton Skull

This litlte amphibian Microlerpeton was found in the permian layers of Odernheim/Pfalz, Germany.

The animal measures about 6 cm. The matrix is original, it measures about 8 x 10 cm. It was broken and have been reglued. No other manipulations! No lacquer, no paint - all you see is real bone!

The skull measures about 1,5 cm, it is excellent preserved and shows very nice details.

It is strictly forbidden to dig in this location for many years. This fossil comes from an old collection.
