Psilophytlower devonian plant

This slab contains remainings of very old plants called Psilophyts. It was found in the lower devonian layers of Odenspiel, Germany.

This type of fossilized plants are extremely rare especially in such a good quality. This piece shows very attractive Psilophyts partially they even are three dimensional preserved.

The stone measures about 25 x 10 cm. There are Psilophyts on both sides of the slab.

The stone was broken once and have been glued, no other manipulations.
