Horse of Lourdes

This famous early carving was found in the Magdalenien of Lourdes, France. It is about 10.000 to 17.000 years old.

The original statuette of the so called „cheval de Lourdes â€œ (Horse of Lourdes) is shown in the Musée des Antiquités Nationales, Saint-Germain-en-Laye. It measures about 7,5 x 4,8 cm.

This cast is handcoloured and made of Epoxi. The colours may be a little differend than shown on the pictures. Because of the handcraft every cast is unique.
