Femur of Homo Rudolphensis

This is the left femur of Homo Rudolphensis(KNM-ER 1481). It was found by J.M. Harris in Koobi Fora / East-Turkana, Kenia in the year 1972. The age of this bone is abou 1,8 to 1,9 mio. years.

This femur bone belongs to the skull KNM-ER 1470.

This cast is handcoloured and made of Epoxi. The colours may be a little differend than shown on the pictures. The handcraft makes every cast unique.
