This vertebra of Placodus gigas was found in the middle triassic layers (Muschelkalk) of Bindllach near Bayreuth, Germany.
The vetrebra is complete, it measures about 6 cm. Partially it is still covered with sediment.
Placodus remainings are very rare finds.
No manipulations at all!
