Skull and bones of Trimerorhachis

This amphibian skull of Trimerorhachis spec. was found in the permian layers of Oklahoma, USA.

The skull is complete including the lower jaws. In addition to that the backside of the stone shows skeletal remainings of this animal. Many of the bones are still covered with stone, it could be surprising what youÂŽll find in case one prepared them.

The skull measures about 13 x 11 cm. The stone was broken once, it measures about 18 x 14 x 8 cm.
