Amphibian skull #1

This skull of an unidentified amphibian was found in the permian sediments of Tipton, Oklahoma, USA.

The preservation is excellent, it is complete, the lower jaws with many teeth are present. The lower part even shows two more jaws of another individual.

The fossil is quite big, measures about 15 x 12 cm. It is a composit made of two original fossils. No reconstructions at all!

Extremely rare material!
