Proebotherium skull

This skull of the camel ancestor Proebotherium spec. was found in the oligocene layers of the White River Badlands, South Dakota, USA. The age of this fossil is about 35 mio. years.

The skull is well preserved, it is nicely inflated (not deformed) and still shows many teeth. The skull is unbroken, it measures about 15 x 7 x 5 cm.

The prepping is excellent, nice display piece!
