Cast reconstruction of a skull from Homo Heidelbergensis, wich was found on the 24.7.1933 in the Quarry Sigrist near Steinheim (Stuttgard Area,Germany). It´s the lightly deformed skull of an adult woman, that lived around 250 000 years ago in the mid-pleistocene. With its mix of primitive and advanced features it can be seen as an ancestor of the Neanderthals. It has a Neanderthal-type fossa suprainiaca on the back of the skull, also to mention as primitive features theres a over-sized eyebow and a small brain volume of 1100 Cubic cm.
This cast is handcoloured and made of Epoxi. The colours might be a little differend than shown on the pictures. Because of the handcraft every cast is unique.
