Rodent skull miocene age

Here we offer a nice unidentified rodent skunk skull. It was found in the miocene layers of Gansu in China. The age of this fossil is about 12 mio. years.

The skull is unbroken and is still embedded in its original matrix. It could be prepped furthermore, some more parts of the fossil could be removed.

The fossil measures about 7 cm in length.

No manipulations at all - all is original!
