This great plant fossil comes from the Perm (Rotliegendes) of Bad Sobernheim.
It comes from an old collection and was found in 1974. The site (Ziegelei Eimer) is famous for its splendidly preserved plant fossils.
Unfortunately, the site has long been inaccessible, and fossils from there are very rarely on the market. This piece was part of an old collection.
The stone measures approximately 16 x 12 x 2 cm.
