Homo Erectus Skull Cap Trinil II
This archaic skull cap was found by Eugiene Dubois in 1891 in Trinil, Indonesia at the river Solo. It is the namegiving typusspecimen of these humans. It has been dated to an age of 500.000 years. In addition to the skull cap a remarkable pathologic Femur bone was found. The surface structure of the original fossil has been heavily grinded due to laying in the river deposits.
This cast is handcoloured and made of Epoxi. The colours may be a little differend than shown on the pictures. Because of the handcraft every cast is unique.
